Beloved restaurant on North Shore closing its doors after nearly 80 years

SALEM, Mass. — A beloved restaurant on the North Shore is closing its doors after nearly 80 years in business.

Come July 2, Bertini’s Restaurant in Salem will no longer be serving up their scrumptious Italian meals, according to a post shared on Facebook.

“What has made Bertini’s such a unique pillar in this amazing community are the patrons who, day after day and week after week, came in to share meals and create memories,” the eatery said in an announcement in the Salem News.

The restaurant added, “It has been an honor and a privilege to be here with you through all of those treasured moments in your lives.”

Bertini’s is known for its thin crust pizzas, parmigiana sandwiches, seafood, and pasta dishes.
