BROCKTON, Mass. — Four people are now without a home after a fire occurred late Sunday night on Martin Street in Brockton.
The Brockton Fire Department told Boston 25 they were alerted to the fire shortly after 11 p.m. The fire is believed to have been caused by firework debris being placed too close to the structure of the house.
4 people are homeless this morning after a fire caused by fireworks debris being placed to close to the house caused considerable damage at 14 Martin St. The fire occured shortly after 11PM. Fire officials said that the fire caused considerable damage to the house. There are no reported injuries at this time.
They added that firefighters responded to an additional four other fires related to fireworks and debris throughout the night.
