15-year-old killed, two others injured in Roxbury shooting, Boston Police say

BOSTON — A 15-year-old boy was killed and two adult men were injured in a shooting Thursday night in Roxbury, Boston Police said in a statement.

Police found the teenager suffering from a gunshot wound after responding to a call around 10 p.m. for fireworks or possible shots fired in the area of 39 Mount Pleasant Avenue. He was transported to a local hospital where he died.

The boy’s name has not yet been released.

Police said a short while later, two adult men showed up at local area hospitals with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The teen’s death was one of three homicides in the city in just the past day.
