If you don't already see enough selfies on your Facebook, Twitter and Instagram timelines, get ready to see a surge of them Tuesday.
June 21 is National Selfie Day.
According to Bustle, you're more likely to snag the perfect selfie with good lighting, a good background and the use of flattering filters.
One of the best and most retweeted selfies was Ellen DeGeneres' photo of more than a handful of celebrities at the 2014 Academy Awards.
Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie-Pitt, Julia Roberts, Lupita Nyongo, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence and Kevin Spacey were among the stars snapped in the selfie.
If only Bradley's arm was longer. Best photo ever. #oscars pic.twitter.com/C9U5NOtGap
