Human remains found in Berlin, New Hampshire

BERLIN, N.H. — Police in Berlin, New Hampshire, found human remains on Thursday night after receiving information that they were in a wooded area outside of the city.

Berlin is roughly 20 miles north of Mt. Washington.

Both Berlin and New Hampshire State Police are investigating the identity of the body and the circumstances surrounding the death. The New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office will perform an autopsy, which will help determine both.
