Here's what it will cost you to attend the Super Bowl

BOSTON — If you are dreaming of going to the Super Bowl game in Houston, get your credit cards out now.

These prices are only going to go up as the game gets closer; FOX25 looked at the various prices Sunday night around 8:00 p.m. Here's what you can expect.

FLIGHT

For flights leaving Boston Logan Saturday and returning Monday, the cheapest ticket is $16 on Spirit, but most of them are $600 on United round trip.

HOTEL

We searched for a three-star hotel near NRG Stadium in Houston, but almost everything is already booked. There's a Fairfield Inn and Suites that's about 15 miles and a 20-minute ride away from the stadium. It's currently running at $479 a night.

If you are willing to stay at a two-star hotel, there are a lot more options. A two-star hotel that is about three miles from the stadium is running $1,250 a night. One that is further away, about 9 miles, is currently $325 a night.

If you want to go four or five-star hotel, most of those are booked. The only one we could find is Hotel Derek Houston Galleria, which is $1,299 a night and about eight miles away.

GAME TICKET

On Ticketmaster's ticket exchange, the cheapest tickets are running $3,500. Others are $12,500. On StubHub, a ticket along the 50 yard line will set you back $10,000.

For one person the grand total is $4,650 for those willing to stay at a two-star hotel. Those who like the finer things will be paying a lot more. And of course, our estimate does not include food, transportation or celebratory beers.
