BOSTON — Hannaford Supermarkets have recalled a popular carrot cake, the company announced Friday.
The food item was recalled because it may contain nuts, a potential allergen, which is not mentioned in the label as an ingredient.
The recalled item is:
- Carrot Bar Cake, found in the Bakery section, 15 oz., UPC# 41268-75817, purchased on or before July 6, 2017
No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported, the company said.
Customers can return the product to their local Hannaford for a full refund.
