CHICAGO — GrubHub is acquiring another Boston startup in its quest for mobile food-ordering dominance.
The company announced it will add LevelUp, a restaurant-facing payment solution system, to its arsenal of tools to get food to consumers.
The tool will allow GrubHub to better partner with restaurant brands by incorporating a payment system into its own workings.
The company announced a 51 percent year-over-year increase in revenues for the second quarter of 2018.
GrubHub previously acquired Boston-based Foodler, a rival delivery service, and folded its users into its system.
