ARLINGTON, Mass. — Good Samaritans dove into a pond to rescue a woman who had accidentally driven in.
Friday afternoon, a 68-year-old woman tried to back into a parking spot on Linwood Circle when she drove over a curb and rolled into Spy Pond.

Three people standing nearby jumped into the water and swam to the car to help the driver.
"They deserve a lot of credit. They did a fantastic job. Probably saved the woman's life. No question about it," said Arlington Police Captain Richard Flynn.
The woman was unharmed but cold. The car sunk to the bottom of the pond.
