Gillette Stadium goes green in support of #WhyNotDevin

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — A Framingham boy suffering from an inoperable brain tumor is getting some stadium-sized support.

Gillette Stadium tweeted photos of the facility lit up in green to support Devin Suau.

Devin, 6, captured hearts everywhere after his family spoke with FOX25 about his condition and his hashtag, #WhyNotDevin, which has since gone viral.

Devin was given between eight months and two years to live when he was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG).

There is no known cure, and his family is hopeful the hashtag #WhyNotDevin would raise awareness in time to find a cure.

Devin was diagnosed while he was being evaluated for a concussion he received while snowboarding.

Since the family started using #WhyNotDevin, the Mass. State Police, Harvard hockey team, members of the military and families all over their country have offered support.

Kim Kardashian also reached out via Twitter after hearing the news.

A GoFundMe page has raised more than $230,000 for Devin and his family.
