WEST ROXBURY, Mass. — Boston firefighters knocked out a fire in West Roxbury on Saturday morning, according to the Boston Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived around 8:30 a.m. to the two-family home at 5083 Washington Street. A second alarm was called, the department said, as the fire was on the first and second floors.

Boston Fire said three off-duty members also helped to put out the fire.
They said the Red Cross has been notified about those displaced. The damage is estimated at more than $200,000, Boston Fire said.
