Driver arrested in West Bridgewater after State Police chase

WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — Massachusetts State Police say they initiated a car chase Tuesday after a driver they attempted to stop on Route 24 north in Brockton refused to pull over and fled at high speed.

Troopers chased the driver on Route 24 north. The driver then exited the northbound side and got back on going south, according to State Police.

The chase eventually ended at Manley Street in West Bridgewater just before 8 p.m., when the driver took off on foot after his car became disabled, according to police. State Police said he was apprehended and sent to a hospital with minor injuries.

Police have not released the driver's name but said he will face charges on "multiple active warrants" and charges stemming from the chase.
