DARTMOUTH, Mass. — Dartmouth Police want you to be on the lookout for cows in the area.
In a Facebook post, the Dartmouth Police Department pointed to two separate car wrecks involving stray cows on Route 195 recently.
Both bovines involved had gone astray from a local farm, but police say there is a third cow still on the loose.
Searching for a stray cow may sound funny, but car wrecks involving the large animal are far from it.
The Board of Health in Dartmouth is asking people to be on the lookout for the third cow and to contact Dartmouth Police at (508) 910-1700 or Dartmouth Animal Control at (508) 910-1840 immediately if it is spotted.
