WESTERLY, R.I. — A Rhode Island 8-year-old is in the fight of his life, but that’s what makes him #DStrong.
Dorian Murray is fighting with cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma that he was diagnosed with at the age of 4.
WPRI reports that after cancer cells were found in Dorian's spinal fluid the family decided to stop treatment.
But recently Dorian had a goal.
“I’m just thinking before I go to heaven to try to be famous as much as I can,” he said.
After brainstorming and a few Facebook posts the family settled on #DStrong as a way for people across the world to spread the love and support.
Now that message is being spread by Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and even the weather team here at FOX25 News.
You can join in too! Take a picture of yourself hold a sign that says #DStrong and share it on social media.
