BOSTON — A Boston man is hoping to reunite a wallet he found with the family of a man it belonged to in the 1930s.
The wallet has a paper driver’s license dated 1930 along with a Social Security card and other items identifying the owner as Albert J. Guerzoni.
The man who found the wallet, Bill Donovan, is a laborer and said it was shocking to find something like this in such great shape.
“I think someone had put it in a hole in the wall at one point and it maybe fell through,” he said.
Donavan told FOX25 he believes Guerzoni died in 1985, but he’s hoping relatives will get in contact with him.
Previously, Donovan told FOX25, he had found a class ring that he was able to reunite with the owner.
“I think I found this wallet for a reason, we’re not sure what that reason is but I would just like to return it to them,” he said.
Anyone with information about Guerzoni or his family is asked to contact desk@fox25.com.
