MEDWAY, Mass. — A chemical spill in Medway sent five people to the hospital and prompted a Hazmat response on Saturday afternoon.

The spill happened at Micro Group, a company that uses chemicals to clean metal. A Hazmat team responded to the scene and was able to contain the spill in just a few hours.

All five victims suffered non-life threatening injuries and are expected to be okay.
According to fire officials, a mix-up with the chemicals resulted in a reaction, which caused the spill.
