CHARLESTOWN, Mass. — A cement spill caused a large dust cloud at a worksite on Terminal Street in Charlestown on Friday morning.
The power was splashed across the ground and several cars.
We're told no one was injured, but it triggered a Hazardous Materials response nonetheless.
The Boston Fire Department said a cement truck was accidentally overfilled due to a mechanical issue around 9 a.m. Friday.
Firefighters were conducting air quality tests in the area to ensure the cement dust wasn't spreading and causing problems.
