Two paramedics ended up assisting Braintree Fire in delivering the child on the family's living room floor.
The child's mother Yunyi told the paramedics at South Shore Hospital that she had recently finished her EMT training at Boston University, and said she wanted to become a part of the Brewster Ambulance team in the future.
Job well done tonight to two of our officers along with our partners with @BrewsterEMS and @BraintreeMAFD for a home delivery of a beautiful baby girl. Happy Birthday!!

She did say, however, that the birth wasn't how she expected to meet any future co-workers.
