3-year-old involved in pedestrian crash gets surprise from Brookline Police

A 3-year-old boy who was hit by a car got a surprise from Brookline Police Saturday.

The boy and his mother were struck by the vehicle on Longwood Avenue Friday, and one Brookline Police officer tried to make the child feel better with some gifts Saturday afternoon.

The officer gave the boy some toys and a tour of his police cruiser, helping to bring some joy to the child after the incident.
