MANSFIELD, Mass. — An investigation is underway after a body was found near train tracks in Mansfield Tuesday night.
Police received word of the incident just north of the Mansfield Train Station around 11:18 p.m., and when they arrived at the scene they found the unidentified victim just off the southbound side of the tracks.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they do not believe the victim was hit by the train and are continuing to investigate the incident.
No other information was released.
