Worcester Police are investigating after a body was found in the water near the shore of Lake Park on Saturday.
Police say they responded to a report of a possible drowning at Lake Park around 8:03 a.m. on Saturday morning, and found a 37-year-old woman in the water.
The victim was found face down in the water in the area where Coburn Avenue and Bridle Path meet, and was pronounced deceased around 8:22 a.m.

The apparent cause of death appears to be an accidental drowning, but the exact cause of death has not been determined.
The victim has yet to be identified, and the investigation is ongoing.
