ABINGTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A woman was arrested on prostitution charges after police say she was offering sex for money on Craigslist.
Officers received multiple complaints before conducting an investigation into the alleged prostitution happening on Block Street. Police were also told that drug activity was taking place in the home.
Police contacted the host of the Craigslist add and set up a meeting. A detective then met up with the 26-year-old woman and arranged to have sex for a fee, which is when the woman was arrested.
The suspect was charged with sexual conduct for a fee and heroin possession.
The owner of the house was also arrested on an active arrest warrant and charged with maintaining a house of prostitution.
