3 people hospitalized after multi-car accident in Quincy temporarily closes road

QUINCY, Mass. — Three people were hospitalized on Monday night after a three-car crash in Quincy, according to State Police. The driver of one car has serious injuries, though officials say the injuries are non-life-threatening.

The other two occupants sustained minor injuries.

The crash occurred near 859 Willard St. in Quincy, near the town line with Braintree. The street was closed for a few hours while the crash left one car mangled and wrapped around a tree.

Police say a fourth car was also damaged in the crash from flying debris. It was parked and unoccupied at the time of the incident.

Right now, State Police are looking into whether speed was a factor in this accident.
