RUTLAND, Mass. — A 2-year-old who was hit by his father’s car in their driveway on Friday afternoon has died.
Around noon Friday, police were called to a home on Campbell Street after a boy was run over by his father’s car.
The Worcester DA’s Office says the boy has died. The DA says neither the boy or his father are being identified at this time.
The incident is under investigation. Officials say it appears to be a “tragic accident.”
