SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Two men were arrested on Thursday after police say they were caught making drug deliveries throughout the city.
Narcotics detectives said that they set up surveillance on the corner of Mattoon and Chestnut Street after receiving information that a drug dealing pair would be hitting the area.
Officers said they targeted the David Faust, 26, and Craig Jones, 25, in a car making deliveries of cocaine, Oxycontin, and marijuana and moved in to arrest the suspects.
When approaching the vehicle, police say they could see Faust, "shoving drugs into his mouth like he was snacking on popcorn," according to the police report.
"Unfortunately for Mr. Faust, he could not swallow all of the marijuana, Oxycontin and cocaine in one sitting," the report continues.
Police say Faust had also been wearing an electronic monitoring device on his ankle at the time due to being on Federal Probation.
Both men face drug charges.
