A gunman still at large after Lynn playground shooting killed 1

One person remains on the run after police arrested two suspects in the Saturday shootings at a playground in Lynn that left one person dead and three others injured, the Essex District Attorney's office announced.

Rogelleo Morrison, 43, of Lynn, is charged with murder and armed assault to murder and Luis Falcon, 25, also of Lynn, is charged with accessory after the fact of murder in connection with the shootings at the Warren Street Playground, the DA's office said in a news release Monday.

The two were taken into custody overnight.

At an arraignment Monday afternoon, prosecutors said one gunman was still being sought.

Officials identified Brandon Jesurum, 34, as the man who died from his injuries. Three other people were shot but survived; the DA's office only identified them as an 18 and 20-year-old woman, and a 49-year-old man. The man's dog was also shot and did not survive.

Police say someone fired into a crowd of more than 100 people, many of whom were children, at the park on Warren Street around 7:20 p.m.

It wasn't the sound of rapid gunfire that left Tom Crowley with chills after Saturday's shooting, but rather what he saw right outside his front door.

"Seen a guy in a white mask running that way and another guy with a black hood on running that way," Crowley remembers.

The man in the white mask that Crowley saw is the third suspect that Lynn Police are searching for.

"At the time I was panicking because my granddaughter was out, we didn't know where she was," Crowley added.

His granddaughter no longer wants to leave the house after the violence erupted while she was outside.

"It was just crazy, two of the girls ran on my front porch and that's where they found them shot," Crowley said.

Jesurum's fiance, Faye Bowdre wants the suspects to know how much they've impacted her family, including the baby she now has to raise by herself.

"Brandon Jesurum was a great father, what a great loss this is to my family," Bowdre said. "It's a tragic thing that this has happened to him."

The investigation remains active, the DA's office said. Morrison was held without bail Monday in Lynn District Court.
