DOUGLAS, Mass. - A 15-year-old girl helped police arrest two men after they attempted to invade her home while she was there alone.
Morgan was home by herself on Wednesday afternoon just past 1 p.m. when her dogs started barking.
"I saw a guy walk up to the door and ring the doorbell, like a bunch of times [and] he wouldn't stop, and then he went around back and started banging on the door," said Morgan.
Terrified, Morgan hid as the two men tried opening one back door and then ripped the screen off the window and climbed into the house.
"I heard them in that room, going through the drawers and stuff, I was sitting on the bed, then they tried to open my door but I locked it," said Morgan.

She had locked the door to her room and hid under the bed and called 911. The dispatcher kept her calm until police arrived on scene, where they were able to soon arrest the perpetrators.
Douglas Police said Morgan's bravery and courage led to the arrest of two men with extensive criminal histories, 28-year-old Mateusz Dymon and 60-year-old Joseph Walsh.
At the scene, one officer took the keys from one of the suspects' car, leaving them with nowhere to run. Within minutes, the two men were in handcuffs. Police also found a crowbar and hammer on scene.
After the whole ordeal, Morgan's father says she's fine, and doing better than he is,
"It's a feeling a parent doesn't want to have, I don't ever want to have it again and I don't want anybody else to go through it," said Morgan's father.
Police say she did everything right, and thanks to Morgan the two men are where they're supposed to be.
"She just did an outstanding job, everything right - I can't imagine what she was thinking when this was going on, but I'm just happy it ended the way that it did," said Douglas Police Chief Nick Miglionico.
Both men have extensive criminal histories ranging from break-ins to assaults. Both are now being held on $10,000 bail.
Police are currently working to see if these men are connected to a recent rash of break-ins at other homes.
