LACONIA, N.H. — A 12-year-old Laconia bicyclist rode into a truck before being run over by an attached trailer, police say.
The girl appeared to be using her cell phone before the accident, and lost her balance before riding from the sidewalk into traffic, Laconia Police say.
The bicyclist hit a truck towing a trailer stopped in traffic, and the truck driver did not realize his car had been hit.
The driver started moving forward, and his trailer ran over the 12-year-old biker.

The girl's injuries were not life threatening, and she was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
