1 person extricated from car after violent crash in Rockland

ROCKLAND, Mass. — One person has to be extricated from their car and another person is in police custody after a violent crash in Rockland Tuesday night.

Both Rockland and Abington firefighters responded to the scene at West Water and Central streets.

The "Jaws of Life" were used to free one of the crash victims, who was then transported to South Shore Hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.

Another person was placed in custody, but no further details were released.
