Memorial Day weekend forecast

Few storms to start

TONIGHT

It’s starting to feel more like summer - highs today hit the low 80s and we’re feeling more humid. Speaking of soupy air, a round of heavy rain and isolated thunder is likely to pass by overnight with the best chance for a solid soaking on the Cape & Islands.

HOLIDAY WEEKEND

Rain will mostly be out of here before sunrise Saturday, although some showers may hang around a little longer on the Cape. Saturday will feature quite a bit of dry time, but another front will bring the threat for some showers and storms in the afternoon. Some storms could be stronger with heavy rain, lightning and gusty winds. Don’t worry about canceling any outdoor plans, just make sure you are prepared for changing weather with our Boston25 Weather App!

The rest of the holiday weekend is looking fantastic. Highs will reach the upper 70s to low 80s Sunday with upper 80s for Memorial Day (70s on Cape Cod). Be sure to check back for updates as things can still shift!

Have a great weekend!
