SOAK IT UP
Brace for a chill this morning. A Freeze Warning is in effect until 8 AM in eastern and southeastern MA where the growing season has begun. That means morning 30s across Massachusetts, and even a few towns in the 20s at sunrise. Full sunshine will boost temperatures back into the lower 50s at the coast and upper 50s to 60 degrees inland. There’s a better chance short sleeves will be comfortable this afternoon, but you should probably keep an extra layer nearby.
WEEKEND IN VIEW
Saturday is the “pick of the weekend” with bright skies and some high clouds moving in from west to east. Highs will land in the lower 60s (50s Cape Cod).
A warm front will trigger more cloud cover Sunday with the chance for a patchy shower in the morning. Many towns will stay dry, but it’s something to keep in mind with anywhere from a trace to 0.1″ possible. Partial sun will develop in the afternoon with 60s and lower 70s.
