Red Sox beat Blue Jays after walk-off grand slam from Xander Bogaerts

BOSTON — A few days after a clutch grand slam from Mookie Betts, Xander Bogaerts decided it was time to one-up his teammate with a walk-off version.

After heading into the ninth inning down 2-1 on Saturday against the Blue Jays, the Red Sox tied things up at 2-2 to send things into extra innings.

Then, in the 10th inning, Bogaerts decided it was time to go home, smashing a walk-off grand slam to dead center field to give the Red Sox a 6-2 win at home.

The win was the second walk-off victory for the Red Sox in 2018.
