Foxboro MA — The New England Patriots announced Friday that they have signed their sixth-round draft pick, offensive lineman Conor McDermott.
Terms of the contract have not been announced.
McDermott played his college football at UCLA and he struggled mightily in the teams 2016 season opener against Texas A&M when McDermott was matched up against Myles Garrett. Garrett was drafted first overall by the Cleveland Browns.
The biggest knock on McDermott heading into the NFL is his lack of top end strength.
