The Patriots drafted Purdue linebacker Ja'Whaun Bentley in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Bentley was the sixth pick in the fifth round, 143rd overall, and comes in at 6-foot-2, 260 pounds.
He'll join a corps of linebackers that notably includes Dont'a Hightower, Kyle Van Noy and Marquis Flowers.
Bentley joins three other players as the newest members of the Patriots roster from the draft this weekend.

Florida cornerback Duke Dawson picked in the second round Friday.and Georgia running back Sony Michel and George offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn both picked in the first round.
