Patriots Cheerleader, cancer survivor, sings national anthem before Patriots game

FOXBOROUGH — Morgan Dzicek was diagnosed with cancer when she was 13-years-old. Over the course of four years, she battled the effects of a tumor behind her left eye as she worked her way through high school, all the while staying focused on her love of music.

Now a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and a Patriots Cheerleader, Dzicek was among those honored Sunday night before the Patriots hosted the Chiefs for their annual Crucial Catch game.

Dzicek performed the national anthem as the Patriots honored cancer survivors in a special pregame ceremony.
