MEDFIELD — On Homecoming Night, the Medfield Warriors beat the Norton Lancers 14-7 in the FOX25 High School GameDay Game of the Week.
The contest was scoreless into the third, when Ryan Eamer connected with Mitchell Gonser for a touchdown reception to make it 7-0 with 9:56 to play in the quarter.
Norton responded with a touchdown of their own, Tyler Elliott finding Ben Combs, who broke free down the left sideline for a long touchdown run to make it 7-7, but the game didn't stay tied for long.
James Voss returned the ensuing kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown, which proved to be the difference in the game as the Warriors improved to 4-1.
With the loss, Norton drops to 3-2.
