They may not be playing for the Celtics the rest of this season, but Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward could be on USA Basketball's national team in two years.
Irving and Hayward were selected for USA Basketball's national team pool for 2018-2020, making them eligible to play in the 2019 Basketball World Cup and 2020 Olympics if they are picked.
LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and even Isaiah Thomas are others highlighted on the list.

Irving is currently out for the season and playoffs with a lingering knee injury requiring surgery, while Hayward's future remains in question after his left leg injury. It looks like both will be back for the 2018-2019 season, and could be representing the country just a year later.
