BROOKLINE, Mass, (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A former worker at Zaftigs, the popular local deli, is under investigation tonight after a possible hidden camera was found in one of the restaurant's bathrooms.
"It's like the famous spot," said customer Patrick Hammond. "When your friends come in from New York, you go to Zaftigs."
Brookline police are investigating a former employee for putting a camera in the handicapped bathroom, something frequent customers would never imagine.
"It's kind of like taking advantage of someone who can't do anything about it," said another customer. "They are a very vulnerable population. We need to continue to protect people."
A viewer tipped off FOX25, saying workers were told to stay quiet about the incident.
FOX25 reached out to Zaftigs management but had not heard back as of Monday night.
