BOSTON — Is there something lurking in the ocean near Antarctica?
One YouTube user suggests there might be. The person found a mysterious disturbance in the ocean waters near Deception Island, off the coast of Antarctica, while browsing Google Earth.
The mysterious shape bears some resemblance to old depictions of legendary sea monsters, which is something YouTube user 'wowforreeel' draws a comparison to.
While some of the internet think it's proof of the legendary "Kraken's" existence, others have suggested it might be a boat or a rock formation.

"No idea what this is but it's circulating a few places right now and when I saw it, it IMMEDIATELY made me think of a Plesiosaur fin," wrote user wowforreeel.
A plesiosaur was a marine reptile that lived during the Jurassic period.
Meanwhile, there haven't been any definitive answers, but speculation is rampant.
