Yarmouth police offer safe space for Craigslist sellers

YARMOUTH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Yarmouth police have come up with a way to make cyberspace a little safer for some users.

The police department will now provide a "safe zone" in its front parking area, so people who are buying, selling and exchanging goods over websites like Craigslist and others have an option for the transaction.

The lot has video surveillance.

Police remind online shoppers to meet during daylight hours in well-known public locations, tell people about your plans, and always bring a cellphone in case you need help.
