WORCESTER, Mass. — Worcester stylists will be offering $10 hair cuts Sunday, with all proceeds going to Auburn officer Ron Tarentino's family.
Officer Tarentino was shot and killed last month during a traffic stop.
The "Cut-a-thon" will take place at the Hair Cuttery on Grafton Street in Worcester from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Kristen Sullivan, one of the stylists, wrote in to FOX25 to explain that Officer Tarentino's death was extremely personal to her. Sullivan lives a block from where the officer was killed, and her husband is a Worcester officer.
"I knew I had to do something for this family," Kristen wrote..
