WALPOLE, Mass. — A Boston Cannons lacrosse player who grew up in Walpole stopped by a local youth practice to show how hard work can pay off.
Ryan Izzo played for Walpole Youth Lacrosse as a kid, then went on to Walpole High School and UMass before turning pro.

Izzo, number 33, is a midfielder for the Cannons.
He came back to his beginnings on May 26 when he joined the Walpole U13 boys for a practice on Upper Turco field in Walpole.
The boys enjoyed watching Ryan shoot, heard stories of his past and present, got autographs and posed for pictures.
