Video shows moment alleged drunk driver crashes into utility pole in NH

LEBANON, NH — A witness caught video of the moment an alleged drunk driver crashed head-on into a utility pole in Lebanon, New Hampshire Wednesday.

The driver, 48-year-old Jeffrey Caron, had been drinking before he veered off Route 4 and hit a telephone police, according to Lebanon police.

His passenger, 31-year-old Kellen Fitzgibbon-Bizel, was arrested after the crash and charged with five counts of possession of a controlled drug, police said.

Police say a witness recorded the video below as the car went off the road and ran into the police.

Both arrested were released on $10,000 bail.
