OKLAHOMA (CNN) — Oklahoma state troopers say they found a lot of marijuana in a man's car, but before they could take him to jail, he took off with the trooper's car!
At one point, the man even apologized to the k-9 who was along for the ride.
Benjamin Henson, 27, was pulled over for following too closely and unsafe lane changing.
He was seated in the cruiser when officers searching his car found several large bags of marijuana hidden in his trunk.
The whole scene was recorded, even when Henson tells the officer that the pot isn’t his.
The troopers returned to Henson’s car and that’s when he made his move into the driver’s seat of the vehicle and took off.
He didn’t get far though. After throwing the pot out the window while swerving in and out of traffic Henson crashed into a fence.
That’s when he jumped out and took off on foot.
"It really opens your eyes that nobody's immune to having something like that happen,” Oklahoma Highway Patrol Lt. John Vincent said.
About an hour later the officers found Henson and arrested him.
