Lowe’s to offer free curbside trick-or-treat, Krispy Kreme to celebrate Halloween

NOW PLAYING ABOVE

While the coronavirus pandemic has some communities canceling their annual trick-or-treat Halloween celebrations, not all hope is lost for kids to get bags full of candy this year.

Lowe’s, the home improvement store, is offering free curbside trick-or-treat events at many stores across the country, USA Today reported.

Families can get in line, drive up, and get a bag of candy and a free small pumpkin. You have to sign up in advance for the event, which is scheduled on Oct. 22 and Oct. 29 from 6 to 7 p.m.

The home improvement retailer is not the only company trying to bring a little normalcy back for Halloween.

Krispy Kreme is offering a free doughnut to people who visit the stores in costume on Halloween, USA Today reported.

It’s a similar promotion to one that happened last year.
