TMZ reported on Tuesday that Hunter's exit from the show was coming soon. Hunter allegedly fathered a baby with a woman with whom he's had a decadelong affair. Those rumors have not been confirmed by Hunter or Williams, but Hunter said in a statement released Tuesday that he was "trying to right some wrongs."

“I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans,” Hunter said in the statement. “I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs. No matter what the outcome is or what the future holds, we are still The Hunter Family and I will continue to work with and fully support my wife in this business and through any and all obstacles she may face living her new life of sobriety, while I also work on mine.”

In the wake of Hunter’s firing, some tabloid reports claim Hunter will get a multimillion dollar payout to leave the show. Those reports have not been confirmed.

Williams is quickly moving forward since filing for divorce. The 54-year-old told her viewers on her show Monday that she will be moving out of the sober house she’s been living in “for some time now.”
