The Boston 'yeti' just wanted to make people smile

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com/AP) - The monster storm in Boston brought with it another monster - a yeti.

The white, furry phantom walked through the blizzard in a sasquatch suit.

One was spotted in downtown Copley Square. Another was sighted trying to hail a cab in suburban Somerville.

New England Cable News reporter Tony Sabato tweeted a photo of the not-so-elusive creature. Above a snapshot of the yeti looking rather pensive, he wrote, "Found the yeti in the blizzard at Copley Square in Boston."

Boston Magazine was able to catch up with the elusive yeti, who has racked up over 5,000 followers on Twitter.

The yeti filled the magazine in on his mysterious existence, saying that he had been hiding in the woods, mainly, before the storm, and that he was a vegan.

The yeti added that he tried to make as many people smile as possible during the storm, and even lent a claw to help some local residents shovel.
