Teacher arrested for alleged inappropriate email exchange with student

Manchester Police arrested a 6th grade school teacher for allegedly having inappropriate email exchanges with a student.

A three-day investigation involving the 50-year-old teacher and a student under the age of 16 was launched on Dec. 4 after school administrators alerted the school resource officer of the alleged inappropriate activity.

According to police, the two allegedly exchanged inappropriate emails, which were sexual in nature, between Nov. 2, 2018 and Dec. 4th, 2018. During that period of time detectives say the two exchanged over 100 emails.

Jennifer Glidden, 50, of Exeter, New Hampshire, was arrested at her home on Friday afternoon.

Glidden is being charged with certain use of computer services prohibited and was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail. She is due in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on Dec. 20.
