TAUNTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Facebook page has parents and students outraged in Taunton and police are not taking this lightly. The page is threatening to post nude photos of underage girls and one parent who is in direct contact with police says there were at least 150 posts in a matter of 2 days and one of a 14-year-old girl who was fully exposed.

Some of the photos and descriptions in the video attached to this post are graphic and therefore blurred. They were posted on the Facebook page that is bullying local teens.

"Someone started posting Taunton Purge is back and shares images of young ladies scantily clad and just embarrassed these folks, this is disgusting," Taunton's mayor said.

Courtney Demoranville, who told police about the page, said her 14-year-old niece's friend approached her crying, saying that someone tagged her in a post and said negative things about her on the social media site, including, "that she was having sex with numerous guys in one week."

"And it wasn't true. And she knew it wasn't true," Demoranville said.

The teen was so embarrassed, she couldn't even tell her family. Parents say it's random people that are being tagged, so Demoranville took matters into her own hands. She made everyone aware of it by posting it on Facebook. Shortly after, police contacted her to let her know they were watching the page.

Parents and teens are afraid someone will feel threatened by it and harm themselves.

"Kids can end up committing suicide because they can't get away from the bullying. It's everywhere," Demoranville said.

Police are trying to figure out how many people are behind these posts. In the meantime, officials say there is a setting on your Facebook page that allows you to accept or decline posts you've been tagged in.
