REVERE, Mass. — A gas tanker rollover in Revere caused fuel to spill all over the area of Brown Circle in Revere on Friday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to Route 60 at Lynn Marsh Road at around 2:30 p.m. for reports of a rollover involving fuel spillage on the road.
Roads into the circle were closed while crews worked to contain the spill and clean the scene. Anything withing a 1,000 foot radius was evacuated as a precaution.

State Police responded to assist with a couple of Troop A patrols as well as Troopers from their Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section (MSP CVES). MSP CVES Troopers will examine the truck’s mechanical and safety systems to determine if it meets all required federal motor carrier regulations.
The driver was transported to an area hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
Roads leading into the rotary are closed and the truck remains at the scene.
