BOSTON — A mother and her baby girl were seriously hurt Thursday while crossing a street in Roxbury.
FOX25 has learned a mother was carrying her 5-month-old daughter when they were hit by a car.
Both the mom and daughter were hospitalized with severe head trauma and are listed in serious condition.
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. Thursday on Humboldt Street.

Police say the driver immediately stopped to help the mother and child. Officials say the driver has been cooperative with the investigation.
Friday, police planned to collect surveillance video from the area to determine how the crash occurred.
